Sponsored by Gary C. Peters (D)
An act to authorize appropriations for the United States Fire Administration and firefighter assistance grant programs, to advance the benefits of nuclear energy, and for other purposes.
Renews fire grant programs through 2028 to 2030 and sets new rules for advanced nuclear reactors.

Extends firefighter grants and the U.S. Fire Administration, and lowers NRC fees for advanced reactors until 2030. Also bars licenses for some Russian- and Chinese-linked nuclear fuel if a national security threat is found.
