Disclosing Foreign Influence in Lobbying Act

Would have required lobbyists to disclose foreign governments and political parties directing their work.

Tradeoff

Would have added foreign governments and parties to lobbyist registration forms under the Lobbying Disclosure Act (LDA) of 1995. Would not have covered the lobbyist's own client.
