Deerfield River Wild and Scenic River Study Act of 2023

Would have studied the Deerfield River in Massachusetts and Vermont for protection as a wild and scenic river.

Tradeoff

Would have ordered a federal study of the Deerfield River for possible protection under the National Wild and Scenic Rivers System. The study would have started only after Congress provided funds for it.
