Fire Management Assistance Grants for Tribal Governments Act
Would have let Indian tribal governments request Fire Management Assistance Grant (FMAG) aid directly from FEMA.
Tradeoff
Would have let tribes seek wildfire aid from FEMA directly, not only through states. Would have required FEMA to update its rules within one year.
