Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument Access Act
Would have let the federal government buy land to expand the Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument in Maine.
Tradeoff
Would have allowed land purchases from willing sellers only, with no eminent domain. Would have kept hunting, fishing, and noncommercial timber harvests on the expanded monument.
