Sponsored by Amy Klobuchar (D)
A bill to ensure the security of office space rented by Senators, and for other purposes.
Exempts Senators' home-state office security upgrades from federal size and cost limits.
Tradeoff
Lets Senators rent larger or costlier home-state offices when security upgrades cause the extra space and cost. Security spending must be approved by the Senate Sergeant at Arms and itemized separately.
