Crow Tribe Water Rights Settlement Amendments Act of 2025

Signed into law: replaces the Crow Tribe's municipal water system with new water projects and creates a new account for water infrastructure.

Tradeoff

Repeals the original municipal water system section and creates a new MR&I Projects Account for water infrastructure. Extends the tribe's exclusive hydropower right on Yellowtail Afterbay Dam by five years, to 2030.
