Bankruptcy Administration Improvement Act of 2025

Raises bankruptcy trustee pay for the first time since 1994 and extends temporary judge positions.

Tradeoff

Increases trustee compensation from $60 to $120 per Chapter 7 case and extends quarterly fees in Chapter 11 cases through 2031. Deposits $5.4 million annually into the U.S. Treasury general fund to offset some costs.
