Recognizing the Role of Direct Support Professionals Act
Would have required the federal government to consider a separate job code for direct support professionals.
Tradeoff
Would have asked OMB to consider a new occupation code for direct support workers who help people with disabilities. The code would have helped track turnover, but it would not have changed pay or benefits.
