Military Families National Parks Access Enhancement Act

Would have given free lifetime National Parks passes to survivors of service members who died on duty.

Tradeoff

Would have made survivors receiving a death gratuity or Dependency and Indemnity Compensation (DIC) eligible for a free lifetime national parks pass. The bill did not take effect because the Senate never voted on it.
