Would have funded Defense Department operations for 2025, with limits on how the money moves.

Tradeoff

Would have set aside Defense Department money for , with limits on moving money between accounts. Would have required notice to Congress before large transfers and some contract awards.

The House rejected a motion to send the bill back to committee, 202-211, on June 28, 2024. The House then passed the bill 217-198 that same day. The Senate never voted on it before the Congress ended, so the bill expired.
