Indo-Pacific Security Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2024

Would have sent extra money to Indo-Pacific allies and the Pentagon's Indo-Pacific Command in 2024.

Tradeoff

Would have added defense and foreign aid money for the Indo-Pacific region. Would have labeled the money as emergency spending, so it sits outside normal spending limits.

The House passed this bill 385-34 on April 20, 2024. The Senate never voted on it before the 118th Congress ended, so the bill expired.
