Trust the Science Act
Would have removed gray wolves from Endangered Species Act (ESA) protection and barred court review.
Tradeoff
Would have removed gray wolves across the lower 48 states, except Mexican wolves, from Endangered Species Act (ESA) protection. Would have blocked courts from reviewing that removal.
What's in it
The House passed this 209-205 on April 30, 2024. A motion to send it back to committee failed 205-210 that same day. The Senate never voted on it before the 118th Congress ended, so the bill expired.
