VA COST SAVINGS Enhancements Act

Would have required the VA to install on-site medical waste treatment at facilities that would save money.

Tradeoff

Would have required on-site medical waste treatment wherever a new VA cost model showed savings. Savings would be measured against off-site contracts, with equipment costs spread over ten years.
