Native American Entrepreneurial Opportunity Act
Creates an Office of Native American Affairs within the Small Business Administration.
Tradeoff
Establishes a new SBA office to help Native American entrepreneurs access business loans, contracting opportunities, and training. The office will operate for 7 years, then expire unless Congress extends it.
What's in it
Costs less than $500,000 over 2026-2031 for federal administrative expenses.
The $500,000 is only the federal administrative cost to codify an existing office and add reporting requirements — the real policy impact is on Native American entrepreneurs who gain formalized SBA support and oversight for seven years.
Passed the House by on June 23, 2026 — sitting in the Senate.
