No Immigration Benefits for Hamas Terrorists Act
Bars members of Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and the PLO from entering or staying in the US.
Tradeoff
Would block immigration eligibility for people involved with Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, the PLO, or the October 7, 2023 attacks on Israel. Would impose minimal federal administrative costs to enforce the restrictions.
What's in it
Negligible federal cost (between -$500,000 and zero) over 10 years (2024–2033).
The $500K or less is just the federal cost to administer the immigration eligibility restriction — the policy's real impact is on foreign nationals deemed ineligible for entry, , or relief from deportation.
