Sponsored by Richard McCormick (R)
To amend the Export Control Reform Act of 2018 relating to the review of the interagency dispute resolution process.
Would have let the Operating Committee for Export Policy settle export license disputes by majority vote.
Tradeoff
Would have required majority votes on export disputes involving countries under a full US arms embargo. Would have let the committee chair decide cases the committee could not resolve.
