Impact of Crime on Public Building Usage Act of 2023
Would have required the GAO and GSA inspector general to study how crime affects federal buildings and their costs.
Tradeoff
Would have required federal watchdogs to report on crime near federal buildings and what it costs. Would have required reports only, with no new rules or money for safety.
