Apex Area Technical Corrections Act
Grants rights-of-way to Nevada entities for expanding an industrial park's utility and transportation infrastructure.
Tradeoff
Streamlines federal permitting for the Apex industrial park in Nevada by letting Interior grant utility and road rights-of-way to the city, county, and the park's owners association. Requires all transfers to comply with federal environmental and land-management laws.
What's in it
Net decrease in direct spending of less than $500,000 over 2025-2035.
The federal cost is negligible—the bill merely directs the BLM to grant rights-of-way and adjust mineral sales procedures, with any small processing fees and mineral sale receipts offsetting the minimal federal administrative expense.
Passed the House by on May 13, 2025. Passed the Senate by on June 18, 2025, then signed into law on July 15, 2025.
