No Funds for Iranian Terrorism Act
Would have required sanctions on foreign banks that handle about $6 billion in Iranian funds moved to Qatar.
Tradeoff
Would have blocked US-linked assets of foreign banks that process the Iranian funds. Sanctions could be waived if Iran ends terrorism support and dismantles its nuclear and missile programs.
