Guiding Uniform and Responsible Disclosure Requirements and Information Limits Act of 2023
Would have limited company disclosures to information that matters to investors and tightened rules for proxy advisory firms.
Tradeoff
Would have cut required company disclosures to information that is material to investors. Would have also restricted proxy advisory firms and let companies exclude more shareholder proposals.
