Alaska Native Village Municipal Lands Restoration Act of 2025

Removes requirement that Alaska Native village corporations convey lands to Alaska in trust for future municipalities.

Tradeoff

Allows Alaska Native village corporations to retain or regain control of lands previously required to be held in trust. Preserves existing easements and public access rights on reverted lands.
