Think Differently about Education Act of 2023
Would have required schools to tell parents they can add experts to a child's individualized education program (IEP) team.
Tradeoff
Would have required schools to notify parents of their right to add experts to a child's IEP team. Would have changed federal special education law (IDEA) by adding this notice step.
