United States-Taiwan Initiative on 21st-Century Trade First Agreement Implementation Act

Approves a 2023 trade agreement with Taiwan and sets rules for future Taiwan trade deals.

Tradeoff

Approves the first US-Taiwan trade agreement, which takes effect only after the President certifies Taiwan is ready. Future trade deals with Taiwan must get Congress's approval and be posted publicly 60 days before signing.
