Housing our Military Veterans Effectively Act of 2023
Would have raised VA payments to homeless veteran housing providers and extended a home loan fee rate through 2032.
Tradeoff
Would have raised the top per diem rate from 115% to 133% of the base rate for homeless veteran housing. Would have allowed rates up to 200% for half of providers, capped at 12,000 payments a year.
