Southcentral Foundation Land Transfer Act of 2025
Transfers about 3.4 acres of federal health department land in Anchorage, Alaska, to the Southcentral Foundation for free.
Tradeoff
Gives the Southcentral Foundation, an Alaska Native health nonprofit, the land it already uses rent-free. Costs under $500,000 in administrative expenses from 2026 to 2030, according to CBO.
What's in it
Less than $500,000 in administrative costs over 2026-2030; no direct spending or revenue effects over the 10-year period.
The $500K federal cost is merely the administrative expense to process and execute the land transfer; the bill's core policy is a property conveyance with negligible budgetary impact since the land is already being used by the foundation without any rent or payment to the federal government.
Passed the House by on December 15, 2025, and the Senate by on September 29, 2026. Signed into law.
