Fairness for Servicemembers and their Families Act of 2024
Would have required VA reviews of military life insurance limits against inflation every five years.
Tradeoff
Would have required the VA to review Servicemembers' Group Life Insurance (SGLI) and Veterans' Group Life Insurance (VGLI) coverage limits every five years. Would have required only reviews and reports to Congress, with no automatic coverage increase.
