Commercial Remote Sensing Amendment Act of 2023
Would have cut the NOAA licensing review deadline for private remote sensing satellites from 120 to 60 days.
Tradeoff
Would have shortened the federal review window for private Earth-imaging satellite licenses from 120 to 60 days. Also would have expanded annual reports on those licenses and extended the reporting requirement through 2030.
