Middle Market IPO Underwriting Cost Act
Would have required a federal study of the costs small and mid-sized companies face going public (IPO).
Tradeoff
Would have ordered a Government Accountability Office (GAO) study of IPO costs for small and mid-sized companies. The study would have produced a report for Congress, but no new rules or changes to the costs themselves.
