One Seat Ride Act
Would have required a federal study of commuter trains that avoid transfers, including New Jersey's Raritan Valley line.
Tradeoff
Would have required a federal study of commuter trains without transfers, due within one year. The bill would only have ordered a study and would not have changed any train routes.
