Animal Drug and Animal Generic Drug User Fee Amendments of 2023

Would have renewed FDA fees that pay for animal drug and generic animal drug reviews through 2028.

Tradeoff

Would have kept animal drug company fees funding FDA reviews through 2028, about $33.5 million a year for brand-name drugs. Would also have set a $50,000 fee for each new generic animal drug file request.
