Would have revived the China Initiative at the Justice Department as the CCP Initiative, to fight Chinese espionage and theft.
Tradeoff
Would have restarted a Justice Department China program that ended in 2022, aimed at espionage and trade secret theft. Would have required its money to stay separate from other Justice Department programs, and would have expired after six years.
