Understanding Cybersecurity of Mobile Networks Act

Would have required a federal report on cyberattack risks to mobile phone networks and devices.

Tradeoff

Would have required the Commerce Department to study mobile network security and report to Congress within one year. Would have excluded 5G networks from the study.
