PRC Is Not a Developing Country Act
Would have required the State Department to push international groups to stop treating China as a developing country.
Tradeoff
Would have pushed to deny China developing-country perks, such as special trade treatment at the World Trade Organization (WTO). The President could waive the requirement if it served the national interest.
