Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office (HKETO) Certification Act
Would have required yearly reviews of whether Hong Kong Economic and Trade Offices (HKETO) keep their US legal immunities.
Tradeoff
Would have let the President end the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Offices (HKETO) in the US. Would have also barred federal agencies from partnering with them unless the offices stayed certified.
