Everett Alvarez, Jr. Congressional Gold Medal Act of 2023

Awards a Congressional Gold Medal to Everett Alvarez Jr., a Vietnam War Navy pilot held prisoner for over eight years.

Tradeoff

Directs the Treasury to strike a gold medal honoring Alvarez, paid for from the US Mint Public Enterprise Fund. Bronze duplicates may be sold to cover their own costs.
