Sponsored by Andrew S. Clyde (R)

Providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives relating to "Factoring Criteria for Firearms with Attached 'Stabilizing Braces'".

Would have canceled the ATF rule that sets when guns with stabilizing braces count as regulated rifles.

Tradeoff

Would have blocked the ATF rule that decides when braced firearms must be registered under the National Firearms Act. Those guns would have stayed outside that registration rule.
