Executive Order EO 14190

Ending Radical Indoctrination in K-12 Schooling

SignedDonald Trump · Jan 29, 2025

Trump directed agencies to cut federal funding to schools teaching what the order calls gender ideology and discriminatory equity ideology.

Does not create new legal authority; it directs agencies to use powers they already have under existing civil rights law. Orders a strategy report within 90 days but does not require schools to act until agencies decide which funding to withhold.
